The Taj Mahal is located in Agra in India. It is one of the most beautiful looking buildings in the world. The Taj Mahal was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th Century to fulfil a promise to his wife. The Taj Mahal is built from white marble, and has a mosque to the west and guesthouse to the east, both of red sandstone. I visited the Taj Mahal with my family in 2002 on a family holiday to India. It was a very hot day, and the sight was brilliant. We took photos from the outside and also went in the inside, where we were not allowed to take photos. Zambia is located in Africa, and is next to Zimbabwe. The capital of Zambia is Lusaka, and the Victoria Falls are also located on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. The falls are the second largest waterfalls in the world. My husband’s parents lived in Zambia, and I have visited the country a few times. The weather is always hot and we always have lots of fun. Last year, I went on holiday by coach. We went by Coach up to Dover. It was a very long journey and we were tired. But because we were going to France, it didn’t matter. We went to France by a very very big ferry. We saw some birds on the way. When we arrived in France, we got something to eat, we went to a McDonald’s restaurant but most things were in French so all we ordered were some chips. Because I am a vegetarian, it was harder to find food because for some reason, the French like meat a lot. After we ate, we went to the Eiffel Tower. We spent over an hour queuing up because there were so many people there. I took a picture of the tower from outside. When we finally got to the Eiffel Tower, we went in an elevator to the top. After that, we saw some famous monuments like the Arc De Triumph. Then we went to a famous art gallery called the Louvre which looks like a big glass pyramid. We went inside the gallery to see the famous painting called The Mona Lisa but the queue was too long so when I was buying a muffin from a shop, I took a picture of a fake one and she’s holding a muffin.
